Come join us for a cleaner ocean on July 7th – Dive for Debris.
On July 7th here in Quepos we are are running an underwater and coastal cleanup, our dive for debris. Over 8 million tonnes of plastic as well as other trash is released into the ocean every year and we are slowly destroying one of the most beautiful resources on the planet. We need to stop this and to do our bit, we will be cleaning up one of our local bay areas. If everybody just picked up one bucket full of trash it would make all the difference.
The clean up is open to both scuba divers and snorkelers so we welcome you all. Come join us for our dive for debris and do your part to help save our oceans!
We will be meeting at 8am at the dive shop and heading out to the bay from there. As mentioned, if you are not a scuba diver, do not worry, as we welcome snorkelers and shore walkers as well to do your part.
