So if you want to do the “Star Trek” thing and boldly go where no one has dove before then here is your chance. 22 miles offshore of Manuel Antonio is a isolated pinnacle , known mostly by local sport fisherman and home to large populations of reef fish as well as pelagics. On every trip we  have seen schooling Jacks, large snappers as well as many of the smaller reef fish. It seems to be a haven for large moray eels, which could well account for the lack of lobster there I suppose. We are offering this trip this year for those divers with a little bit more experience who want to dive somewhere where few people have yet to have the chance. with the depth at the top of the reef touching 95ft (approx 28m) it is certainly not a beginners dive so would recommend it for this with at least an advanced certification. We would also recommend diving on nitrox for this to extend your bottom time slightly, so why not combine it with a nitrox cert, or what about your first step into technical diving? With a full array of technical dive courses available at the dive center, now is a great time to start. Want to go that bit further and see something different, then maybe this is the dive for you on your costa rican vacation?!
