So the past couple of months have been busy, even after Semana santa. We have been busy with some nice local trips, a few shark sightings and quite a few open water courses and referrals. Very popular here if you don’t want to spend your time in the classroom whilst on vacation, you can complete your academics via PADI e-learning and then just jump in the pool here , and compete your 4 open water dives…Ta Daaa!!!!! Recently we had a group of visiting travel agents who were in Manuel Antonio doing the most sensible thing really….Learning how to scuba dive! We had a fun packed , hectic few days and with the water staying relatively clear (around 10m ) despite the rains everyone had fun all round! It was also very good practice for my new Divemaster in Training as he will need to keep a close watch on everyone!
With a nice flat ocean, the open water dives went smoothly and our local fun divers have been having fun as well! We also headed out to Cano island last week on pre-wedding party Snorkel trip. With smooth seas we arrived in around 1 hr 40 minutes and spent the morning checking out the rays, sharks and sea turtles. Not a bad way to spend a morning really! After a nice picnic lunch it was back on the boat to Quepos! Our next Isla del cano trip is planned for the 19th May and with the sun shining its a perfect time to come diving either to Cano or locally with us here.
We look forward to bubbling with you soon………
