Additional features can include a digital compass, Bluetooth connectivity, rechargeable batteries, air integration and advanced technical-diving modes.

Air integration is optional but allows compatible dive computers to display cylinder pressure and, on some models, calculate information such as estimated remaining gas time. Wireless systems normally require a compatible transmitter attached to the regulator first stage. Divers should check transmitter compatibility before purchasing because systems are not universally interchangeable.
