Come scuba dive Caño island

Thought by many to be the most beautiful diving and snorkeling in Costa Rica, Isla del Caño is situated in Drake Bay about 2 hours to the south of Quepos by boat.

The trip is a full day trip and the boat departs from a nearby village. At this current time we are not running boat trips directly from Quepos. The village is located around 1 hour south of Quepos and we can either arrange transport there for you, or you can make your own way there.

From there you will travel approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours by boat to the island where you will either dive or snorkel 2 different sites as well as have lunch.

On your boat trip to the island you can spot Pan Tropical Dolphins and Sea Turtles.  During season you can also spot Humpback whales. When you arrive, abundant resident sea life surround you, giant schools of pelagic fish, Barracuda, Trevally Jacks and Pompano, white tip reef sharks and rays,. Visibility in this area often exceeds 80 feet.
